National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has extended his condolences to the family of Ford Kenya member and Webuye East chairman Aggrey Namisiko Nakitare.
Wetang’ula said Nakitare’s selfless service and commitment to the party stood as a beacon of enthusiasm for their shared ideals.
“The Tachoni community, Ford Kenya Party and Bungoma County have been dealt a significant blow with his departure. He was a symbol of hope and unity within our party and a steadfast pillar of strength for our community,” he said
The National Assembly speaker said Nakitare was a resourceful and principled individual, and his absence will be greatly felt.
“As we grieve his loss, let us reflect on his zeal and dedication to the Ford Kenya party. His legacy will forever stand as a testament to the values we hold close to and the commitment required to effect change. At this time, let us rally together to provide support to one another,” he said.
Wetang’ula said in doing so, they would honour Nakitare’s memory by carrying on the work he held so dear.
“His spirit will reside eternally in our hearts and the principles we uphold,” he said.
“May he find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the knowledge that his legacy will endure within the Simba Party and in the hearts of all those he inspired.”
