Who We Are

Ford-Kenya is founded on the ideology of Social Democracy and its tenets of social justice, fair and equitable distribution of resources and opportunities, protection of civil liberties, functional literacy and education, quality and adequate health care, social welfare and security for all, the rule of law and constitutionalism.

The Party stands for good governance, national unity and patriotism, integrity, justice, equity and equality, democracy and non-discrimination, devolution and sharing, sustainable development, transparency and accountability, protection of the marginalized and dialogue.

The Party aims to secure political, social-cultural and economic emancipation of the People of Kenya; promote, protect and defend their fundamental freedoms and liberties; assure socio-economic justice; promote and advance sustainable economic development and the wellbeing of all the people of Kenya.

The distinct comparative advantage the Party has over other parties is resilience, sobriety, consensus building, tolerance and putting the nation above all things.

Governing Body

FORD-Kenya has the following structures of governance: the National Delegates Congress, the National Executive Council, the Management Committee, the Branch Executive Committee, the Sub-Branch Executive Committee, the Ward Committee, the Polling Station Committee and the Secretariat.
