During his visit, they discussed various matters including how we can leverage on Parliamentary Diplomacy to ensure we streamline export of Labour within our two countries while at the same time equipping our own graduates with the necessary skills to advance self employment and further create opportunities locally.
Amb. Guo Haiyan briefed him on the Leap Job Fair event at the University of Nairobi that was graced by Deputy President H.E (Prof.) Kithure Kindiki where the institution with the support of more than 50 Chinese Companies including tech institution Huawei Technologies seeks to support graduates in opening opportunities for Labour export.
Partnering with the Ministry of Education will go a long way ensuring the government strategy to create jobs for Kenyans abroad and locally is achievable.
As Parliament, we will work on ensuring the implementation of Labour laws within respective jurisdictions to ensure safeguarding of the interests of our citizens.
